2900 Series Media Combiner
The Media Combiner 2900 combines together compressed video, Ethernet, IP and voice services (ASI, E1/T2 and MPEG IP). It is a flexible, cost effective and secure platform for inter-studio communication over dark fibre, legacy SDH/PDH and the latest Fast Ethernet / GigE MPLS IP networks (E4, framed and unframed DS3). The 4 Mbit/s IP data channel provides broadcast server interconnection and remote control and a G.703 2Mbit/s option provides PBX interconnection
