1.628 SES-Power-Control-Box

The logical device SES Power Control Box monitor 3 inputs and 1 output or 1 WGS coming from an IO device. Even if there is no need to setup Input devices the device requires that the output is connected to a logical WGS or Output device

It was created to ease up the setup SES own relay power box to power on/off twt or klystron amplifiers when not needed.

Device window pages

The following table shows which device window pages are available with this individual device type. Tool-bar functions not mentioned here are described at the general description of device windows .

Configuration parameters

At the maintenance page of the device window there are a couple of configuration parameter which must be set to interconnect the Parameter-Mirror device with the devices it shall mirror.

parameter description
input-A...D.id Enter the device name and parameter id of the IOs parameter where the input is connected to. Example IOFEP.inputs.0
input-A...D.bit Enter the bit position where the input is connected on the IO device
input-A...D.polarity Enter the polarity of the input
input-A...D.faultText Enter the faul text which should be linked to the input
input-A..D.message-A Enter the message/value shown for the input when in A or 0 position
input-A..D.message-B Enter the message/value shown for the input when in B or 1 position
output.id Enter the output device name and parameter id of the WGS or Output Device
output.message-A Enter the message/value shown for the for the output when in A or 0 position
output.message-B Enter the message/value shown for the for the output when in B or 1 position
initialized.id Device drivers like the SatService-IO-FEP provide a status parameter called 'initialized' which becomes 'true' when all inputs have been read from the device once. You have to set the ID of this parameter here in order to make the device replicate this initialized state. Example: IOFEP.initialized .
