5.4.3.4 vlc.properties

The Event Database basic configuration (e.g. if the EDB should be started on a MNC system) is defined in /home/satnms/vlc.properties.

The following settings are available:

• Local event database
  • enable or disable EventDB within the MNC service
  • local.edb, default: yes, options: yes|no
• Duplicate events
  • MNC service sends all events to the configure central EventDB but also to the local EventDB
  • duplicate.edb, default: no, options=yes|no
• EventToSerial Add-On
  • sends events to a serial interface
  • server.addon=EventToSerial
• EventToMail Add-on
  • sends events via E-Mail
  • server.addon=EventToMail
• EventToScript Add-on
  • calls a user defined script
  • server.addon=EventToScripts

The file is read once at system start, hence any changes to this file become effective with the next restart of the MNC service.
