6 Theory Of Operation
This section gives some background information about the internal structure and some functional concepts of the M&C software. It may be helpful to know how things work under the hood - both for operating and especially for configuring the software.
- Chapter M&C Concept describes the basic concepts how a parameter setting at a particular device finds its way to the user interface, how device drivers work and how the M&C software handles the data read from and sent to a device internally.
- Finally, chapter Automating Procedures With Macros gives some information woh the macro feature in the M&C software works as well as examples how to edit macros in the editor or write the from scratch.
All this information refers to the legacy java client of the software but it applies to the web based user interface as well.
