Configuration parameters

At the maintenance page of the device window there are a couple of configuration parameters which must be set to make the software talk to the encoder.

The read/write-community strings may be set through the Adtec-EN81 front panel or the web interface of the device. Factory defaults are 'adtec' for the read community, 'none' for the write community. Hence a typical address specification for a Adtec-EN81 may be 10.0.0.1 adtec none .
