Abstract

The DEICE-Controller manufactured by SatService GmbH is a frontend-processor which is especially designed to control antenna de-icing in satellite ground stations. It allows to supervise potential-free (alarm-) contacts like ice sensors, to switch external items like heaters, to measure different temperatures. It ensures ice-free antennas while optimizing heating time and power consumption.

This document describes how to install, setup and operate this antenna controller.
